Positive and carefree sunny-day vibrations are plentiful in the SoCal local reggae outfit, Fluid Foundation. Lead vocalist and guitarist, Nick Dell has a great sense of three-part harmonies coming from a barbershop family. His vocals stylings are smooth, rhythmic and soulful, drawing influence from many hybrid, alternative California sounds. Tiki Tyler is on bass, bringing a heavy roots feel with reflections from that sweet, classic 70s reggae sound. Bass is the heart of reggae music, and Tyler has a lot of fun with it, adding infectious, bubbly rhythms and melodies. Ian Foreman is an "animal" on the drums adding an uplifting punch and effortless flow. Rob Eldon is on the keys, steel pan, vocals, and does a lot of the chord structures and compositions; infusing reggae, dub, surf and West Coast hip-hop into the mix. With Brandon Baker on sax, flute, and Glenn Holdaway on trumpet, they add a rich full-band dynamic. The band has been nominated for the San Diego Music Awards' album of the year in 2016 and 2018. With their social sound, naturally, they've invited many of their favorite artists to collaborate on songs. Fluid Foundation fills the air with love with their all-encompassing sound. Stay tuned for their new track "Made In California" featuring Slightly Stoopid dropping June 1st 2019! - J. Wesley
